It includes plan-position indicators (PPI) of all polarimetric weather radar observables. IDRA is mounted at the top of the Cabauw tower at 213 m agl. It is scanning horizontally at a fixed low elevation angle, rotating with one round per minute, and covering, depending on the setting, a slant range of 1.5 km, 15 km or 60 km with a range resolution of 3 m or 30 m. IDRA thus provides the horizontally spatial distribution of precipitation over the CESAR observatory. onGoing dataset http://data.3tu.nl/repository/collection:cabauw website 5f3bcaa2-a456-4a66-a67b-1eec928cae6d climatologyMeteorologyAtmosphere Radar, Reflectivity, Differential Reflectivity, Linear Depolarisation Ratio, Doppler Velocity, Doppler Spectrum Width, Differential Phase, Precipitation 4.707 5.145 51.835 52.105 2008-06-26,onGoing 2009-10-19 publication Processed weather radar measurements at linear horizontal / vertical polarisation basis of IDRA. The observables included are reflectivity, differential reflectivity, linear depolarisation ratio, Doppler velocity, Doppler spectrum width, and differential phase. The forward-scattering and backward-scattering effects are not separated, i.e. the data are not corrected for attenuation. 28992 EPSG CESAR data policy (www.cesar-database.nl) scientific Delft University of Technology (DUT) t.otto@tudelft.nl Principle Investigator Delft University of Technology (DUT) Principle Investigator t.otto@tudelft.nl http://rse.ewi.tudelft.nl/ 2010-05-27 creation eng ISO-19115 Nederlands profiel op ISO 19115 voor geografie, v1.2 1 scalar 2016-05-07T04:00:00Z 2016-05-07T07:59:59Z IDRA_dataset_description_document.pdf 1.0 netCDF,3.6.2 Otto T., DUT 2010-05-27 1 scalar CESAR observatory 51.97 4.926 -0.7 06348 Zijdeweg 1 3411 MH Lopik Utrecht the Netherlands 1 scalar time hours since 2016-05-07 00:00:00 T range non-fixed m Slant range (meter) to the leading edge of the range bins.
